Does The Lounge have a dress code?
We do not have a strict dress code, although decency and smartness is expected. However we do not permit any type of "flip-flops" in the venue for safety reasons, and encourage you to dress in closed shoes when you visit us. Some special events have a discounted or free entry for those who dress in theme - check the flyers for full details.

Can anyone go to The Lounge?
We welcome everyone to the venue, although The Lounge promotes responsible drinking and we do not admit persons who are extremely intoxicated, or anyone who displays violent behaviour, anyone carrying weapons, or anyone under 18 years of age. Always bring your ID! We reserve the right of admission at all times.

Is there a cover charge to enter The Lounge?
Some nights have a cover charge and on some nights we offer free entry all night. We also have nights that have free or discounted entry before a certain time. Events almost always have a cover charge, though dressing to theme usually entails free / discounted entry. Please check the latest event listings for details.

Do you accept credit cards?
We do not accept any form of credit or debit cards at any of the bars and we operate on a cash basis only. This is mainly to keep the waiting time down for other patrons and the bar service as fast as possible. We also do not permit any tabs or loans at the bars.

Is there a smoking section inside the club?
Due to strict smoking laws, The Lounge is no longer able to permit smoking anywhere downstairs or on the front balcony (overlooking the road) but we do have an outside smoking section at the back of the club and also, the entire 2nd floor is a designated smoking section.

Will my belongings be safe at the venue?
If you keep your belongings on your person at all times, they will be perfectly safe. We encourage patrons not to ever leave items such as wallets, cellphones, handbags, etc. unattended. We also request that you leave unnecessary items at home and only bring the essentials. We do have facilities for leaving non-valuables such as jackets and coats at the front desk although the club takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to property.
